Behind black sliding doors is the large bathroom with shower, double washbasin and bathtub; the toilet has its own washbasin. The bed is made up and towels are provided. Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped: induction hob, oven with microwave function, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, and in the coffee corner a Nespresso machine, a toaster and a kettle. Outside In front of the suite is a terrace with comfortable seating, sunny all day. Bicycles can be kept in the garden or indoors in the small storage room. TV and wifi Television with all channels, including German ones. Free wifi. Parking The suite comes with a parking permit from the municipality of Bergen for zones B, C and D, all around the building. You send us your number plate before arrival, we register your car and you park for free. One car per stay. Good to know Check-in from 3 pm, check-out before 10 am. Apartment Zeezicht (Sea View) is our luxury apartment with a view of the sea, in the heart of the fishing village of Egmond aan Zee. The beach is 150 metres away, the village street with shops and restaurants 200 metres. The entrance is on the Prins Bernhardstraat: a black wooden door with an oval sign. Behind the door a (steep) staircase leads up to the terrace, where you arrive first. It has a lounge seating area for three. You look out over the rooftops of the village and in the evening you can hear the waves. Inside you enter the tastefully furnished living room with a sofa and armchair. There is a smart TV with all channels (including German ones) and apps such as Netflix and YouTube. The open kitchen has an induction hob, combi oven with microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, espresso machine with capsules and a kettle. From the dining area you look out over the boulevard and the dunes. Next to the kitchen is the first bathroom with a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. On the second floor, on the right, is a room with a single bed, wardrobe and bedside table; ideal for a child. Beyond it is the bedroom with a double bed, sea view and a lovely relaxation corner where you can enjoy the sunset in the evening. The en-suite bathroom has a shower with massage jets, a bathtub and a washbasin with mirror. The whole apartment has free Wi-Fi. Towels and bed linen are provided. Parking is free with a digital parking permit: we register your number plate in the parking system. There is no bicycle storage; bikes can be rented at the end of the street. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 3 guests and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (76 m²). Please note: the staircase to the apartment is steep. Through the second entrance you enter the living room with a large dining and seating area with TV, an open kitchen with induction hob, combi oven with microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and a Nespresso machine, and the second bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. On the first floor there are two more bedrooms, each with two single beds that can be pushed together. The ground floor has a double bed. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, so the house stays comfortable outside the summer season too. There is a separate toilet in the hallway as you come in, and the ground-floor bathroom has a shower, a washbasin unit and a second toilet. The house has two bedrooms, each with two beds. The first bedroom is on the ground floor and looks out over the garden; the second is upstairs. Next to it upstairs is a further room used for storage, with a large wardrobe and space for a cot. The new kitchen is fully equipped: a 4-burner gas hob, a Constructa built-in oven with microwave function, a large fridge, a dishwasher and a Nespresso capsule machine. A large dining table stands next to the kitchen. The living room has a spacious seating area with a large sofa and an armchair, and a television with all channels, including the German ones. The kitchen door opens straight onto the enclosed garden. On the terrace there is an outdoor table with six chairs, so breakfast or dinner outside is easy. The beach and promenade of Egmond aan Zee are 120 metres away. The village centre, with shops, a bakery and restaurants, is a 3-minute walk. Behind the village the North Holland dunes begin, with walking and cycling routes all the way to Bergen and Castricum. Alkmaar is about 10 kilometres away. Good to know: check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am. Gas, water, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included, and there is a first-aid kit in the house. Parking is in zones B, C and D — a parking permit comes with the house, for which you pass on your registration number in advance. Dogs are welcome: € 55 per dog per stay, up to two dogs. The kitchen has an induction hob, a combination oven with microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer compartment, a kettle, a filter coffee maker and a capsule machine. The living room has a sofa set, a dining table and a smart TV with KPN, including German channels. Outside you have your own enclosed garden with a picnic bench. Bikes can be kept in the garden. The beach is 150 metres away. The supermarket and the village street with shops and restaurants are 200 metres away. There is a bus stop right next to the cottage. Good to know: check-in from 15:00, check-out by 10:00. The door has a keypad lock; you receive the code before arrival. Gas, water, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included, and there is a first-aid kit in the house. Dogs are welcome: € 55 per dog per stay, up to two dogs. The cleaning fee is € 100 per stay. No smoking indoors; smoking in the garden is fine. Please keep quiet in and around the house between 22:00 and 07:00. Tourist tax is € 2.70 per person per night. Wellness cottage with sauna and hot tub by the sea

Gelukkig aan Zee Wellness Cottage is a small holiday cottage in Egmond aan Zee, set up entirely for two people. You have the cottage to yourself: your own entrance, your own wellness area, no shared spaces. The beach is about 200 metres away and the J.C.J. van Speijk lighthouse is right around the corner. The heart of the cottage is the wellness area downstairs: a spacious hot tub for two with headrests, a combi sauna with Finnish sauna and infrared panels, and a wide rain shower behind glass. There is a washbasin unit and a toilet, and towels are ready for you. The sauna heats up in about 15 minutes and switches off automatically after an hour; the hot tub fills in about 15 minutes and runs at 38 degrees. Upstairs you will find the living room with a 40-inch smart TV and the bedroom with a 180 x 200 box-spring bed. There is no cooking facility, but there is a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a Nespresso machine. Wifi is free, and bed linen and towels are included. The cottage has no garden or terrace. We arrange parking for you: send us your licence plate in advance and we register you for a parking permit, so parking is free. The village centre with shops and restaurants is about 200 metres away, the bus stop 50 metres and Alkmaar around ten kilometres. Good to know: the cottage has a steep staircase and the upper floor is partly open, so it is not suitable for children or for guests with limited mobility. Smoking indoors and parties are not allowed. Dogs are welcome for a supplement of €55 per dog, maximum two. Check-in is between 15.00 and 20.00 with a code from the key safe by the door; check-out is at 10.00. We ask for quiet in and around the cottage after 22.00. Unfortunately there is no space to store bicycles: no garden, no shed and no lockable place. Guests usually leave their own bikes on the bike rack on the car; you can rent bicycles at the end of the street.
