Genieten aan Zee is a 70 m² holiday home for up to 4 guests, with its own entrance and its own enclosed garden. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, so the house stays comfortable outside the summer season too. There is a separate toilet in the hallway as you come in, and the ground-floor bathroom has a shower, a washbasin unit and a second toilet. The house has two bedrooms, each with two beds. The first bedroom is on the ground floor and looks out over the garden; the second is upstairs. Next to it upstairs is a further room used for storage, with a large wardrobe and space for a cot. The new kitchen is fully equipped: a 4-burner gas hob, a Constructa built-in oven with microwave function, a large fridge, a dishwasher and a Nespresso capsule machine. A large dining table stands next to the kitchen. The living room has a spacious seating area with a large sofa and an armchair, and a television with all channels, including the German ones. The kitchen door opens straight onto the enclosed garden. On the terrace there is an outdoor table with six chairs, so breakfast or dinner outside is easy. The beach and promenade of Egmond aan Zee are 120 metres away. The village centre, with shops, a bakery and restaurants, is a 3-minute walk. Behind the village the North Holland dunes begin, with walking and cycling routes all the way to Bergen and Castricum. Alkmaar is about 10 kilometres away. Good to know: check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am. Gas, water, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included, and there is a first-aid kit in the house. Parking is in zones B, C and D — a parking permit comes with the house, for which you pass on your registration number in advance. Dogs are welcome: € 55 per dog per stay, up to two dogs. Cleaning costs are € 75 per stay. Smoking is not allowed indoors; in the garden it is fine. Between 10 pm and 7 am we ask for quiet in and around the house. Tourist tax is € 2.70 per person per night. A cot and high chair can be arranged on request (€ 25 per stay, limited availability).
